The mouth: essential to life!

The mouth is the entrance to a cavity through which everything the human body needs to grow and survive passes: solids, liquids, medicines, air.

The mouth has 2 arches (Maxilla at the top and Mandible at the bottom) where our teeth are implanted. (28 in general).

The mouth is not limited only to food absorption activity. Day and night, it performs several functions in which teeth play a major role.

The mouth and the nervous system!

The nervous system organizes coordination between all the players in these vital functions.

All these organisms: teeth, jaw bones and joints, tongue, taste buds, glands, mucous membranes and the bacterial system play a role in the mouth which constantly receives external elements. t4>

saliva is a very important protective element of all these organisms. Having a dry mouth is detrimental to dental hygiene, bacterial proliferation is increased tenfold. For an athlete, the drying out of the mouth during exercise must be quickly compensated by small doses of drinks to nourish the body but also to leave the oral cavity moist.

Our dental arches!

To have a healthy mouth, the functioning of each of these different organisms must be perfect.

It is thanks to our teeth implanted in our arches that we can chew food correctly to improve digestion.

Our dental arches are directly and indirectly involved in the balance of the biological functions of our mouth.

This is why, by preserving their health, we protect the integrity of these functions and therefore our quality of life.

Dental occlusion and migraines!

poor teeth or poor occlusion (teeth meshing) can influence our balance or our resistance to effort.
