Why use dental floss daily?
A toothbrush doesn’t reach every area. Activated-charcoal floss enhances hygiene by removing plaque and debris between teeth and along the gumline.
How to use
- Cut about 40 cm of floss and wrap it around your middle fingers.
- Tension a clean section between index fingers and slide gently between two teeth.
- Hug the tooth in a “C” shape and move up without pressing on the gum.
- Use a fresh section for each space, then rinse.
Tip: you can use it during brushing to bring toothpaste between the teeth.

FAQ
How often should I use charcoal floss?
Ideally every day, preferably in the evening. Activated charcoal helps capture impurities; consistency improves overall hygiene.
Before or after brushing?
Either works. Many people use it before to dislodge debris, then finish with the brush. The key is being gentle and consistent.
Is it suitable for tight contacts?
Yes—let it glide without forcing. If access remains difficult, consider an alternative (waxed floss, interdental brushes) after advice from your practitioner.
Can I reuse the same piece?
No. Floss is for single use. Discard after use to avoid re-contamination.
