Why use dental floss every day?
The toothbrush doesn’t always reach inside interdental spaces. Silica floss dislodges debris and dental plaque where access is difficult, for more complete hygiene—especially in the evening when saliva production decreases.
Directions for use
- Preferably use in the evening to complement brushing.
- Cut about 40 cm, wrap around fingers, and tension between the index fingers.
- Slide gently between teeth, form a “C” around each tooth, and move up slowly.
- Do not go below the gumline more than 0.2–0.3 mm; stay gentle to avoid irritation.
- Single use: discard the used piece.

FAQ
Is dental floss really necessary?
Yes. It complements the toothbrush by reaching narrow areas between teeth, limiting the buildup of plaque and food debris.
What time of day should I use it?
Many people prefer using it in the evening, when saliva flow is lower. What matters most is daily consistency.
Should I reuse the same piece of floss?
No. Floss is for single use: discard it after use to avoid re-contamination.
Any precautions for the gums?
Yes. Move without forcing and don’t go below the gumline more than 0.2–0.3 mm. If discomfort persists, seek your practitioner’s advice.
